Well, it's something. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for it, though.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the multi-touch trackpad on the MacBook Pro.
Except for very mouse-oriented tasks (like gaming), it's actually my
preferred form of mouse input. If I had an iMac or something, I would
seriously consider getting one for it. But I agree, 70 bucks is a bit steep.
Though I paid as much for the mouse I use on my gaming desktop. So it's not
an outrageous price for a good "mouse."

According to everything I've read, that's exactly what it is.

Oh yeah, I'll pay up to $100 for a decent mouse. The Logitech Performance Mouse is the single best I've ever had, although the hyper-sensitive nature of the scroll wheel makes it ill suited to gaming, but the side buttons perform the same function.

I never did get the point of an external touchpad. As far as I'm concerned,
a touchpad is what you make do with when you can't or are too lazy to get
out your mouse.

Oh man, I don't know how I'd live without the gestures on my MacBook. Using a mouse just feels so slow now.
